I constantly ask myself why I like modern web development so much. It's not an obvious thing to come home after a full work day and still have the desire to do more, code, debug, depoloy, etc.

Personally, I think we, as developers, are living in one of the most interesting times. With all the open source communities and technologies such as Docker, gives us the ability to work on heavy projects without the need to spend a lot of money - basically all we need is a laptop and an internet connection.

I'm not saying it's easy, because it's not. I think that as modern developers we are required to have an extended technoloy stack and have a deep and thorough understanding of many concepts - and that's hard.

Professional Experience

Over the years I had both Backend and Fullstack roles, although I have to admit I'm more attracted to the backend.

In those I had the oppurtunity to work with React in the Frontend, Node.js and Go (Golang) in the Backend. In the last couple of years I'm more focused on automation, testing, deployment etc.

Personal

I'm happily married with two amazing small children, a dog and a cat. I'm a fan and a co-owner of a local soccer team “Hapoel Katamon Jerusalem FC” @HapoelKatamon ❤️🖤❤️

I love travelling and running in the nature. And coding, I really love coding 🤓
